Hello everyone! OlderMe is the only hub on the internet for all bodies experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and andropause (male menopause).
OlderMe consists of expert resources, goods and services, a comprehensive provider directory, and community support to connect people experiencing hormonal changes to help with navigating life's changes over 40 and beyond.
Mission
OlderMe connects those in midlife with knowledgeable providers, fosters a welcoming community, and offers valuable resources and holistic solutions to empower people during this pivotal chapter of their lives.
Meet people like you and find help.
Join a community of other real people (not AI) who say the truth in a very safe, confidential space, who share the same interests and want the same "better together" mindset.
In addition, there's a directory coming that will include healthcare and service providers beyond the limited amount of MDs that you can find today from your health insurance, or a Google search, or purely Western medical associations or societies on the internet. I anticipate product and service partnerships too, which will be fully disclosed out of respect for you, dear reader.
Yep, I'm one chick doing the thing.
Hi, I'm Kristine Campbell. I'm a chick in my early 50s and post-menopausal, living in this wacky yet beautiful place called Oregon. I guess it's no co-inky-dink that the state's motto is "She Flies With Her Own Wings."
My journey into and through perimenopause and menopause, and now on the other end without knowing it lead me on a journey to help humanity as we go through this collectively.
What really drives my passion for this mission is that we WANT to get help from healthcare and service providers who actually KNOW about the 'Pauses, but there is NO WAY to find them universally, at least not here in the United States. I had to hunt and peck for goods, services, and knowledgeable providers for years who were trained on menopause and took my insurance. I found out the hard way that they're hard to find.
So I'm building a directory of healthcare and service providers, and adding categories for anything that would be useful to help our bodies, minds, and spirits work through the 'Pauses well.
Technically speaking...
Someone in the awesome, amazingly supportive Portland startup community turned me on to Ghost, the same platform that powers this website. I'm learning as I go and using their tutorials. I'm bootstrapping and doing this in my spare time. If you see something wrong, please be kind and tell me at oldermeco@gmail.com. If you want to help, or know of anyone who has some tips for me to learn, please send my way.
THANK YOU, and May Your Future Be So Bright You Need to Wear Shades!
